The Team 241 Astros are based out of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. Our team has grown and evolved since its rookie year in 1999. We have worked hard and bettered our team every year by improving our engineering and learning from previous seasons. Our team is broken up into different sections and these groups must work together to build a robot in only six weeks, integrating each groups work in to one final project . During the build season we meet daily after school and on Saturdays. Every year we attend the BAE Systems Granite State Regional event at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, and this year we will attending the competition in Atlanta. The team is accompanied to the competitions by our trusty mascot Astroman. To find us at the BAE regional just look for Astroman, our red polo shirts, or listen for our battle cry, "N-N-N-Nobody Messes with the Astro-machine!”
