About Us

Team 241, the Astros, are based in Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. Originally founded in 1993 as Team 26, we lost our number after missing a regional. In 1999, we were reborn as Team 241 and have been to the BAE Granite State Regional Competition in Manchester, NH every year since.

We participate in many community projects and fundraising activities, such as the Pinkerton Academy Annual Car Show organized in conjunction with the local Rotary Club, a Hexbug fundraiser for the 2007 trip to Atlanta, school pep rallies, and concession stands during sporting events.

Our generous sponsors include Pinkerton Academy, Mr. Robert Dabrowski, BAE Systems, and Yvonne Tsai, MD. Our robot is student designed and student built, but would not be possible without the guidance of our mentors. We love what we do, always try our best, have fun, and always keep safety in mind.

Our Supporting Parents

We have many Parents helping our Team in the background from organizing fund raisers, to providing diners during the build season, to giving team spirit during the competition events. Without the supporting Parents, our task to provide a fun and eventful robotics program for the students could not be realized.
